The Jews, the Dream of Returning to the Promised Land,
and the Consequences of this on World Peace.

“It would be my greatest sadness to see Zionists (Jews)
do to Palestinian Arabs much of what Nazis did to Jews.” Albert Einstein [1]

My purpose in writing this paper is to present a point of view, founded upon information provided by Alice Bailey, a 20^th century author, Theosophist and Occultist. Bailey was critical of the Jew and his activities in Palestine, writing that:

“The Jews, by their illegal and terroristic activities, have laid a foundation of great difficulty for those who are seeking to promote world peace.” [2] I agree with this, along with many thousands, perhaps millions of people around the world. The ongoing annexation of Palestinian land and displacement of Arabs, has fed discord and poison into humanity for decades, and it shows no sign of being resolved. Arab militancy is increasing as a result, to the point that we see world-wide terror being exported by the likes of Al Qaeda! If this evil continues unabated, it could well be the poisonous seed which ignites a global conflagration. This must be avoided at all costs. A religious-based war “may well prove the end of humanity,” said Bailey. [3]

I have presented information about the history of the Jews and of hitherto unknown Zionist activities (at least to me), which I hope will clearly establish the great wrong which is being visited on the Palestinian people. To gain a fuller understanding about what motivates the Jewish people in their claim to the “Promised Land”, I begin with their history!

VII.     What can we do to solve the most crucial problem facing humanity?

I. Comment upon the ancient history of the Jews, and their Religion

[Information on the Jews in this section, comes from ancient writings called the Old Commentary. [4] ]

1. The Jews are not of Earth’s humanity, and in this we find the root of the “Jewish problem.”

We are told by the Old Commentary, that the Jews are not of this world. They originate from a completely different time and space - from a previous solar system to be exact. This makes them “different!” In that system human beings were trained to use their minds and their skills to build and acquire tangible things. Subsequently, the Jews arrived on earth with deeply ingrained materialistic tendencies. These clash with the goal of this second system, which is the Love of God. You could say they came in on a different wave length to the rest of man.

“In the first solar system the emphasis was laid upon intelligent materiality; the goal of the highest initiate was to attain complete control over matter, to unfold the mind principle and to evidence a definite materialism.” [5]     

Arriving on earth before earth-born humanity, the Jews were the first to step onto the Path of Discipleship. [6] The task at this stage is to bring the ego (which gets attached to material things) under the control of the Spiritual Soul. When this is achieved, all craving for material things is superseded by an aspiration for the non-material ‘treasures of heaven’! The Jews had great wealth, and three disciples, refused to give theirs up. They refused to go forward upon the Spiritual Path, and symbolically into the “Light!” This got them into severe trouble with the Masters of the Race. These words from the Old Commentary explain what happened:

"Again the Word went forth: Drop on the ground all that you hold, and enter free.."But three revolted from that stern command. The three remained without the gates, holding their treasure firm..They turned their faces towards the gates of earth.. The Masters met in conclave and decided what should be the fate of those who, having reached the Gates of Light, loved the possessions of the world more than they loved the service of the light.  Again the Word went forth to the revolting three, who waited still without the gates: ‘Hold what you have and gather more, but know no peace Garner the fruits of mind, and seek your power in wide possessions, but have no sure abiding place.. because you are disciples of the Lord, you shall have no share in peace, no sure and certain knowledge of success, nor power to hold your gains.”[7]

The refusal to progress forward, and thereby halt the Law of (Spiritual) Evolution which drives all before it ever onwards and upwards towards a loftier status, is considered  in one sense to be “evil.”  

“.. evil is that good which we should have left behind, passing on to greater and more inclusive good. Forget not that the black magicians of today were the initiates of a previous solar system.”[8]

We are given a hint. With the refusal to move forward, these Jews stepped onto the Left Hand Path of Black Magic. I believe that they refused to take the 3^rd initiation, which opens the nature up to powerful spiritual force. To this energy the black magician is not responsive, his aims are different. It is at this point that the two ways of darkness and of light, separate." [9] These Jews stayed outside the “gates”, the entry into spiritual inclusiveness and love. They “loved worldly possessions more than they loved the service of the light.”

Completing the story, the ancient legend tells us that the three went forth in sorrow and revolt, laden with their treasures, and thus the history of the wandering Jew began. They are the founders of the modern Jewish race. But so ancient is this lineage, all nations have their roots in this group – hence all inherited this over-emphasised love of material things. Jesus of Nazareth was a direct descendant of the eldest of the three, but he completed what the others did not. He had no possessions, and went through those “gates” unladen. Until the Jews follow his example, their ceaseless wandering will remain says Bailey. [10]

|| “The love of money is the root of all evil” and this trait is flourishing well in all races. The ancient writings point out however, that it is a very strong characteristic in the Jewish race itself, and it has got him into trouble down the ages in his business dealings with others. [11] ‘Greed’ must be overcome by all those who seek to move forward on the spiritual Path.

2. The Jewish religion promises an earthly reward, and this is fostered in its followers.

There is a distinct difference in orientation between the holy books of the Jews (Kabbalah, Talmud, Old Testament), and those of the East such as the Bhagavad-Gita, and the New Testament. [12]

The Messiah in the latter (Jesus, Krishna), teach that life in this world is but a preparation for ‘eternal’ life found in the spiritual world. Men are encouraged to let go of material wealth in order to reap the benefits of heaven. The Messiah or Moshiach of the Jewish holy books promises an earthly reward, and in this we have a definite connection back to the mind-sets of the Jews in the ancient writings. Subsequently these books foster a materialistic desire. In the Old Testament we find:

The moshiach will bring about the political and spiritual redemption of the Jewish people by bringing us back to Israel and restoring Jerusalem (Isaiah 11:11-12; Jeremiah 23:8; 30:3; Hosea 3:4-5). He will establish a government in Israel that will be the center of all world government, both for Jews and gentiles (Isaiah 2:2-4; 11:10; 42:1). He will rebuild the Temple and re-establish its worship (Jeremiah 33:18). He will restore the religious court system of Israel and establish Jewish law as the law of the land (Jeremiah 33:15).

|| In these verses, we have the essence of that which motivates many Jews today! Reward comes in the physical world - a return to Israel; the reclaiming of Jerusalem which will become the seat of a world government, with Jewish law and religion established throughout the land. These are the high spiritual goals of his scriptures. From these verses, we can draw a direct line to the events unfolding in Israel today.

2a. The Jewish religion with its demands of purity and isolation, fosters separativeness, breeds an aversion towards the rest of mankind, and this militates against his being assimilated into the nation in which he lives.

“The colouring of the religion is separative. God is the God of the Jews; the Jews are God's chosen people; they must be preserved in physical purity and their well-being is of major importance to Jehovah; they have a messianic destiny, and Jehovah is jealous of their contacts and interest in any other people or God. To these divine requirements they have, as a people, been obedient and hence their plight in a modern world. ..” [13]

This sense of being special because one is “chosen by God” is found in most fundamentalist religions. In the Jew, the belief raises him above the rest of humanity (goy).

“[The Jews] regard themselves as the chosen people.. forgetting that it is Humanity which is the chosen people and not one small and unimportant fraction of the race.” [14]

But the Jew does have a unique and important role to play in Humanity. He represents the personality consciousness, which is separated from the Soul!

“The Jew has ever been the symbol of humanity—evolving, seeking, restless, materialistic, separative and greedy.  He is the symbol of the mass consciousness, presenting this consciousness in an exaggerated form; he is ever seeking and searching a home and is the true Prodigal Son of The New Testament.”[15]

While other religions come and go, the Jewish faith has persisted for thousands of years. While the followers of other religions eventually dissolve back into the melting pot of humanity, along with their separative ideals, the Jew continues on his exclusive path down the corridors of history.

“Instinctively and intellectually, the Jew is separative; intuitively he has vision, but at the same time he possesses no sense of fusion with other peoples.”[16]

The Jew does not wish to be assimilated into the nation of his birth and with the masses. He wants to remain apart, because this is demanded by his God. He is instinctively separate - it is all he knows!

“[All the problems of humanity] can be traced back to the outstanding human weakness, the great sin or heresy of separateness. There is no greater sin than this; it is responsible for the entire range of human evil.” [17]

This greatest sin, is the prevailing characteristic of the Jewish race! This is the primary cause for his alienation from the rest of humanity. This separation has become so crystallised over the ages, it is like a wall. This is why he is disliked. The Jew is rejected by mankind, because he rejects mankind! The following remark made by Zionist Jacob Klatzkin in 1921, is an example of this separative attitude. He was addressing a German audience.   

“We Jews are aliens… a foreign people in your midst and we… wish to stay that way. A Jew can never be a loyal German; whoever calls the foreign land his Fatherland is a traitor to the Jewish people“.[18]

|| An attachment to form life which is stronger than any aspiration to spiritual freedom – this keeps souls ‘bound in time and space.’ All disciples who aspire to the “treasures of heaven”, know they have to follow the example set by Jesus – let go of all material attachments! This enables the freed consciousness to pass through the “gates” of initiation unladen, and thereby enter into a higher state of being. Can this be done by the Jew without abandoning his religion? Every Jewish disciple has to answer that question for him or herself!

2b. The Old Testament encourages aggressive and cruel behaviour.

Unlike the Christian who builds his spiritual life upon the New Testament and the message of love, the Jew builds upon the Old Testament. There are many passages which confirm the fact that historically Jews were a cruel and acquisitive people. According to Bailey, the Jews saw that ancient Palestine was a fertile and prosperous region. They wanted it, and they took it, justifying their covetous actions by claiming that it was given to them by God. And their God approved, nay encouraged, their actions!

“They took the Promised Land at the point of the sword, sparing neither man, woman nor child.  Their religious history has been built around a materialistic Jehovah, possessive, greedy and endorsing and encouraging aggression. Their history is symbolic of the history of all aggressors, rationalising themselves into the belief that they are carrying out divine purpose, wresting away from people their property in a spirit of self-defence and finding some reason, adequate to them, to excuse the iniquity of their action. Palestine was taken by the Jews because it was "a land flowing with milk and honey," and the claim was made that the act was undertaken in obedience to divine command. Today the law is working, and the Jews are paying the price, factually and symbolically, for all they have done in the past.” [19]        

There is a major warning here for all. Under the Law of Karma, the more severely one transgresses, the harsher is the price exacted! The Romans and Persians conquered the Jews in Palestine, and the people were scattered and stateless – until 1948 when Israel was created. But remember, the three miscreant Jews were told that they would “have no sure abiding place..” until they let go of their craving for earthly treasures. Perhaps if the Jews had approached the whole Palestinian question in a more inclusive and kindly manner, the future destiny of Israel today would not look so bleak. But we are seeing a replay of the past and under the Law of Karma, there will be a price to pay.

Desmond Tutu on Israel: “Injustice and oppression will never prevail. Those who are powerful have to remember the litmus test that God gives to the powerful: what is your treatment of the poor, the hungry, the voiceless? And on the basis of that, God passes judgment.” [20]

Even the Jewish Messiah is invested with aggressive traits. The Jews do not believe that Jesus was the Messiah of the scriptures. This is because he did not achieve the things that the Old Testament said the messiah would do. In fact the word messiah is no longer used by some, because of its association with Jesus. ‘Moshiach’ is used instead, and this time he will be a human being, not a god or demigod. He will be a military leader of the line of David, who will restore the Jews to Palestine, and deliver earthly power and wealth into their hands. Only the man who can achieve this will be anointed as the Moshiach!

“The moshiach will be a great political leader, a great military leader who will win battles for Israel.. another Jew born about a century later came far closer to fulfilling the messianic ideal than Jesus did. His name was Shimeon ben Kosiba.. and he was a charismatic, brilliant, but brutal warlord.”

The Moshiach mantle is a huge prize just waiting to be grabbed by the man who is ruthless enough to deliver the goods! Some have tried and failed. Political leader, military leader? Perhaps for a while some Jews thought David Ben-Gurion was the Moshiach, or even Ariel Sharon?

|| In summary, the collective thoughtforms of materialism, covetousness, separativeness and aggression, all these have kept the Jew alienated from his fellow man. We know that these characteristics are found in all people and in all races, but the Jew has separated himself to a such degree, that in a sense, he does not feel connected to mankind, nor they to him. The unseen danger in all of this, is that this isolation has made it possible for evil forces to use the Jews, to stir up trouble in mankind! [21] And this is the situation in Israel at the moment.

2c. The desire to return to the ‘promised’ land, cultivated for thousands of years, has resulted in a crystallised thoughtform of such power, it holds Jews slave to the past.

“Illusion.. is the succumbing to powerful thoughtforms which.. at the time of their creation constituted the hope of the race.. These forms, when old and crystallised, become a menace and a hindrance to the expanding life.” [22]

The desire to “return to the promised land” I believe, is a nostalgic wish based upon a deeply buried yearning for the life and glories experienced in the previous solar system. The Jew wants to go home, back to a time when he had power and status! This has been projected onto Palestine in this system, but for aeons he has been denied this goal, and abused and humiliated in the process. So he turns to the comfort of his religion which promises that one day the Messiah will come, and restore his good fortune. Of this he has dreamed down the ages, and consequently, a powerful thoughtform encapsulating this vision, has been created! It is perhaps the oldest and most powerful thoughtform existing, being fed by Jews since the dawn of time (and that would be just about every human being at one time or another)! [23] It controls him, and he and his kin are slaves to its momentum and its desire! This is why it is so hard for those who are thus imprisoned, to change their point of view about Palestine and Jerusalem.

|| The dissolution of this ancient thoughtform will release these captive souls, and here is where Occultists can work. The method is to build an opposite counterbalancing thought. This is slow work, and needs to be constantly reinforced.

A more rapid method of destroying a thoughtform, is to shatter it from the physical plane, with an opposing and more powerful force! A crude example is the brute force which destroyed the armies of the Nazis, and thereby shattered for a time period at least, the ideal of a Aryan master race. Many captive souls would have found their release as a result! But the esoteric method is through the power of thought distributed on the physical plane through books, film, talks, etc.

II. The rise and Influence of Zionism

1. Birth of Zionism, and its goal

“Zionism is essentially Jewish nationalism rooted in 19th century racist, colonialist thinking gilded over with a “religious” patina. The policy which the state of Israel is executing today is nothing more than a continuation of that Zionist policy begun in 1897.”[24]

The Zionist movement was founded by Austrian Theodor Herzl in 1897, incorporating the ideas of early thinkers as well as the organization built by Hovevei Tziyon (“lovers of Zion {Jerusalem}”). Its goal was to restore Palestine to its “rightful owners - the Jews”. They rationalised that since the land of Israel was given to the ancient Israelites by God, the right of the Jews to that land is permanent and inalienable. [25] The drive to establish the state of Israel, is simply the efforts of Zionists to manifest the hopes and wishes of millions of Jews down the ages.

Not all Jews identify with Zionism or support its aims. It is vehemently opposed by Orthodox Jews who believe that the reinstatement to Jerusalem will come through a Messiah, not through Zionists. In turn Zionists argue that the will of God works through them, and when Israel is established, the Messiah will appear. So a ‘cart before the horse’ theory has been adopted. Within Zionism itself there are different factions.

Originally, at least in the minds of secular Zionists, the goal was just to get a piece of land somewhere upon which to found a nation. But religious zealots, believing that the moment of God’s prophecy was upon them, took up the Zionist banner, and insisted that the literal ‘word of God’ must be adhered to. Their will has prevailed, and so the ‘Greater Israel’ dream was revived.

“To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river the Euphrates. The land of the Kenites, Kenizites, Kadmonites; the Hittites, Perizzites, Refaim; the Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Yevusites.” - Genesis 15:18-21

This is behind the current claim to Jerusalem and land confiscations, as Israel tries to push its boundaries out to fulfil the prophecy. In the above context, Greater Israel would comprise, roughly, all of modern-day Israel as well as the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Golan Heights, Jordan, and Lebanon, much of Syria, Iraq, and Kuwait, as well as parts of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey. The following quotes are examples of how this belief has been interpreted:

[Zionist] Revisionism advocated the creation of a Jewish state on both sides of the Jordan River, that is, a state which would include the present-day West Bank and all or part of the modern state of Jordan. [26]

2)      The Revisionist Zionist Likud Party and Religious Zionists, claim “the right to increase settlements, and claim Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.” [Zion is a term for Jerusalem].

3)      Rabbi Meir David Kahane promoted a “theocratic Greater Israel.” [27]

4)      “It was easy for Israeli governments to say they would return territories for peace, and at the same continue to build Greater Israel, since peace or anything approaching it appeared to be a remote abstraction.” [28]

This Greater Israel goal is not trumpeted about, because to do so would invite hostile opposition not only from the countries mentioned, but from the world community as well. But the goal of Greater Israel, is at the heart of religious Zionism, and it is these zealot settlers who are at the root of the confiscation of land owned by Palestinians. And this is at the root of all the trouble!

The vision of Greater Israel does not stop at the borders of the Middle East. The prophecy surrounding the Moshiach, is that he will make Israel the seat of World Government. There are people who believe this will actually happen, and in this they are identical in their dreams, with Muslim fanatics.

1)     “The moshiach(Messiah)will.. establish a government in Israel that will be the centre of all world government, both for Jews and gentiles.”[29]

2)     “All the nations of the world will recognise Mashiach to be a world leader and will accept his dominion.” [30]

3)     “The first period in the Era of Moshiach will bring the world to complete perfection.. Moshiach will be the one to lead the world to that era, and will continue being the world’s leader during that era.”[31]

2. Zionists sought deals with the Nazis

This is a shocking revelation. In order to procure a Palestinian home-land, Zionists offered to collaborate with Nazi Germany at the beginning of the war, by offering their militias to strengthen German power in the Middle East. In return they wanted jurisdiction over Palestine!

“The radical Zionist group “Fighters for the Freedom of Israel”, better known as the terrorist “Stern” gang, which later on became the Israeli army, had offered to cooperate with the Nazis in order to maintain and strengthen German power in the Middle East for the hope of receiving jurisdiction over Palestine to establish the Israeli state.” [32]

A little research will reveal many more recorded accounts of this collaboration.

3. Zionists fostered anti-Semitism in order drive the Jews to Palestine

“[The Jews were] during the years immediately following the war, under the control of a glamour imposed by the Zionist Dictators, who were to be to the Jewish people what Stalin and his group, and Hitler and his gang, have been to their people. They worked through the same methods—terrorising, withholding information, browbeating their opponents, making false claims and bribing and corrupting. They were and are a minority, but a powerful minority because of their great wealth and their being in positions of power.” [33]

This perhaps is even more shocking than the previous revelation. Zionists needed a ‘population’ in Israel if a nation was ever to eventuate. The method devised by Herzl to force people to move from their home countries to Israel, was to stir up hatred against Jews. In the period of suffering which followed, the “safe” haven of Palestine would be seen in a much more attractive light.

“It is essential that the sufferings of Jews.. become worse.. this will assist in realization of our plans. I have an excellent idea. I shall induce anti-semites to liquidate Jewish wealth. The anti-semites will assist us thereby in that they will strengthen the persecution and oppression of Jews. The anti-semites shall be our best friends.” [34]

There are several recorded examples of this plan being carried out. Herzl obviously thought he was doing his victims a favour, that suffering (for them) would be positive and build their character.

“So anti-Semitism, which is a deeply imbedded force in the subconscious mind of the masses, will not harm the Jews. I actually find it to be advantageous to building the Jewish character, education by the masses that will lead to assimilation. This education can only happen through suffering, and the Jews will adapt.” ^Herzl[35]

At the Nuremberg Trials of Major War Criminals, Nazi propagandist, Julius Streicher testified: “I did no more than echo what the leading Zionists had been saying”, In addition to Hitler, Rosenberg, Goebbels and Streicher, many other Nazi leaders used statements from Zionists to validate their charges against the Jews of Germany. [36]

Cynics believe that Herzl’s Machiavellian tactic of deliberately inciting hatred and attack on Jews is still being used by the Zionists today – this time against the Israeli population!

Steal the land, raze a village, destroy communities, debase, humiliate and murder people - and they will eventually strike back. When terrorist bombers come in, or missiles fall, the public naturally wishes to be protected. So most will give their support to any “tough” measures which the government decides to take ‘on their behalf’. By deliberately keeping hostilities on the boil, Israel will have further opportunity to expand its borders - the true Zionist goal!

This ‘incite Arabs into violence, so we can hit back and further our aims’, is clearly the Machiavellian strategy, being used by the Zionist to drive its ‘Greater Israel’ juggernaut forwards. And if in the process some Israeli’s suffer, then the Herzl type of thinking is that ‘it will be good for their character; if some people lose their lives, this is a noble sacrifice in the cause of Greater Israel!’

But as we all know, excessive force is counterproductive. It breeds resentment and invites retaliation. History is witness to this. The most dangerous place for Jews on earth today, is Israel, as many orthodox Jews point out! [37] And history is a long, cold and unforgiving road!

III. The Israel - Palestinian Conflict

“The area of difficulty is the Near East and Palestine. The Jews, by their illegal and terroristic activities, have laid a foundation of great difficulty for those who are seeking to promote world peace. The Jews have partially again opened the door to the Forces of Evil, which worked originally through Hitler and his evil gang. The "sealing" of that door had not been successfully accomplished..These Forces of Evil work through a triangle of evil, one point of which is to be found in the Zionist Movement in the United States, another in central Europe, and the third in Palestine. Palestine is no longer a Promised Land and should not be so regarded.” [38]

Let us be really clear about what Bailey has said about the activities of the Jews in Palestine, both in the current period and from the past. The Jews:

-       Took the Promised Land Palestine, because it was "a land flowing with milk and honey”

-     They murdered all, sparing neither man, woman nor child. 

-       They looked for a reason to justify their sin, either by rationalising themselves into the belief they were carrying out divine purpose, or claiming they were obeying God’s command.

In this current world period, the activities of the Zionist Jews has been:

-          A major blow to world peace.

-          Illegal and terroristic

-          Partially opened the door to Evil which previously worked through Hitler and his gang.

-          The Zionist movement in the US is one point of a triangle of evil!

They have also collaborated with the Nazis for personal gain, and fostered anti-Semitism against their own people, for personal gain.

|| After pondering upon this list, it is reasonable to question the motives of those who support the illegal conduct of Zionists in Palestine.

Are they true idealists who believe that the Jews’ “Divine right to Palestine” is more important than anything, or anyone else? Or do they hide behind the scriptures in order to cover up a calculated, mercenary, and greedy, criminal activity? Or do they just not care about other people’s dispossession and suffering as long as they get their own piece of land and their lives are made more prosperous and secure? Or – and this concerns western supporters, do they align with Israel’s actions simply because America does (primarily a white democracy), and therefore naturally deserves support? There may also be a racist element, with white people siding with Israel’s policies simply because they are perceived as being ‘more white’. As unpleasant as it may be to acknowledge that such racist attitudes exist – they do, and may influence some people’s perception of Israel’s actions.

Is there evidence to support Bailey’s view?

1. “The right of the Jews to the land (of Israel) is permanent and inalienable.”

This belief is inherent in the Jewish religion, and it is reasonable to question it in light of events in Israel. The statement implies that Jews have a right to Palestine which is higher than any man-made law, because they have a mandate from God! We can understand now, why - in their dealings with the Palestinians, Zionists so easily reject humanitarian law, especially those developed since WW2 and enshrined in the various UN Charters and Geneva Conventions. This is ironic, since an important motivation to create such laws was the holocaust! Some conventions which Israel continuously flouts as it continues with its annexing of the West Bank occupied territories are:

1)     The Declaration of Human Rights: No one shall be subjected to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment; no one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home; everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of the state; no one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property, etc.

2)     Geneva Conventions: [47] Occupying Powers will not annex the whole or any part of the occupied territory. [49] The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies [39]

2. From the beginning, the Zionists intended to apply genocide and apartheid 

There is ample evidence to support this claim! From the onset, the Zionists knew that the Jewish homeland would have to be a pure Jewish state. This would mean getting rid of the people who had lived there for more than a thousand years – the Palestinians! This is genocide. The legal definition of genocide as given in the ‘1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide’, is as follows:

"any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life, calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; [and] forcibly transferring children of the group to another group." ^Wikipedia

The Zionists knew that the Palestinians would not give up their land freely. The following quotes are from Zionist leaders.

1)     Jabotinsky (1923): “[They].. look upon Palestine with the same instinctive love and true fervour that any Aztec looked upon his Mexico or any Sioux looked upon his prairie. To think that the Arabs will voluntarily consent to the realization of Zionism in return for the cultural and economic benefits we can bestow on them is infantile.”[40]

2)     David Ben-Gurion: “If I were an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country.. We come from Israel, but two thousand years ago, and what is that to them? There has been anti-semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They only see one thing: we have come here and stolen their country. Why should they accept that?”[41]

The Machiavellian architect of Zionism - Theodor Herzl, rubber-stamped the principle of evicting the Palestinians and taking the land. His plan seems mild on the face of it, but he set the stage for the practise of apartheid, and the slaughter, which followed!

 “We must expropriate gently the private property on the estates assigned to us. We should try to spirit the penniless Arab population across the borders by procuring employment for it in the transit countries, while denying it any employment in our country.”.[42]

Under the leadership of David Ben-Gurion, it was decided that 1.3 million Palestinians could no longer live in their homeland. It was obvious to him that the indigenous people would not willingly give up their land to the Jews, so the plan for ethnic cleansing of Palestine was carefully prepared, and a crime against humanity was carried out. [43]

 ‘'The strategic objective was to destroy the urban community, which were the most organised and politically conscious sections of the Palestinian people. This was not done by house to house fighting inside the towns and cities, but by the conquest and destruction of the rural areas surrounding most of the towns.. Deprived of transportation, food and raw materials, the urban communities underwent a process of disintegration, chaos and hunger which forced them to surrender.' ^{Ben Gurion}

Apartheid

In 2007, former US President Jimmy Carter enraged the Israel Lobby when he published his book ‘Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid’. Commenting upon the fuss, Tony Karom, Jewish journalist originally from South Africa, now resident in NY, and senior editor at Time Magazine, said: ‘His use of the word apartheid is not only morally valid; it is essential, because it shakes the moral stupor that allows many liberals to rationalize away the daily, grinding horror being inflicted on Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.”

As Jewish immigrants started flooding into the country, a rigid apartheid regime was instituted. Arabs were banned from working on land purchased by the Zionists. There was to be no place in the Israeli state for any Palestinian. The following quotes are from Zionist leaders:

1)     ‘There is no such thing as a Palestinian.” ^{Golda Meir}[44]

2)     “[The] formula for the parameters of unilateral solution are: To maximize the number of Jews; minimize the number of Palestinians; not to withdraw to the 1967 border and not to divide Jerusalem.” ^{Ehud Olmert[45]}

3)      ‘Among ourselves it must be clear that there is no place in the, country for both peoples together. With the Arabs we shall not achieve our aim of being an independent people in this country. Transfer the Arabs from here to the neighbouring countries, transfer all of them, not one village or tribe should remain.’ ^{Joseph Weitz}   [46]

Today (2007) 90% of the land in Israel proper is held under: “restrictive land covenants” barring non-Jews, even those with Israeli citizenship from owning the land or from earning a living on it. Yet, according to Israeli law, a Jew from anywhere in the world can come to Israel and automatically be a citizen with the right to own land. [47] Israeli authorities have created a “regime of separation based on discrimination,” in which two different systems of law in the same area are being applied, based on nationality. [48]

The ‘transfer’ of Arabs became a veritable genocide, [49] and was accomplished with remorseless brutality. Israel’s backers portray it as a country that has sought peace at every turn and shown great restraint even when provoked. The Arabs, by contrast, are said to have acted with great wickedness. Ben-Gurion acknowledged that the early Zionists were far from benevolent towards the Palestinian Arabs, who resisted their encroachments – which is hardly surprising, since the Zionists were trying to create their own state on Arab land. Israel’s conduct has often been brutal, belying any claim to moral superiority. [50]

1)     “A systematic strategy of terror was devised in 1948 to drive out 750,000 Palestinians [which] amounted to organised ‘ethnic cleansing’. The Irgun and Stern Gangs specialised in terrorising Palestinians into fleeing the land. On 9 April 1948, for example, terrorist killers from Irgun led by Menachem Begin (a future Prime Minister) attacked the village of Deir Yassin and massacred 250 defenceless men, women and children. A witness; Red Cross Doctor de Reynier, said: ‘All I could think of was the SS troops I had seen in Athens.’[51] These massacres were the main instrument for forcing the Palestinians to leave and then expropriating their properties under the 1950 Absentee Property Law.” [52]

2)     “Among the most disturbing political phenomena of our times is the emergence in.. Israel of the “Freedom Party”.. closely akin in its organization, methods, political philosophy and social appeal to the Nazi and Fascist parties. It was formed out of the membership and following of the former Irgun Zvai Leumi, a terrorist, right-wing, chauvinist organization in Palestine. Without provocation on April 9 1948, they attacked Deir Yassin, an Arab village  surrounded by Jewish lands. It had taken no part in the 1948 war, and had even fought off Arab bands who wanted to use the village as their base. They killed most of its inhabitants - 240men, women, and children, but kept a few alive to parade as captives through the streets of Jerusalem. The terrorists were proud of this massacre, publicized it widely, and invited all the foreign correspondents present in the country to view the heaped corpses.” Albert Einstein. [53] [The leader of this party was Menachem Begin who became the sixth Prime Minister of Israel.]

3)    The creation of Israel in 1947-48 involved acts of ethnic cleansing, including executions, massacres and rapes by Jews, and Israel’s subsequent conduct has often been brutal, belying any claim to moral superiority.. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) murdered hundreds of Egyptian prisoners of war in both the 1956 and 1967 wars, while in 1967, it expelled between 100,000 and 260,000 Palestinians from the newly conquered West Bank, and drove 80,000 Syrians from the Golan Heights.[54]

4)    During the first intifada, the IDF distributed truncheons to its troops and encouraged them to break the bones of Palestinian protesters. The Swedish branch of Save the Children estimated that ‘23,600 to 29,900 children required medical treatment for their beating injuries in the first two years.’ Nearly a third of them were aged ten or under.. Since then, for every Israeli lost, Israel has killed 3.4 Palestinians, the majority of whom have been innocent bystanders; the ratio of Palestinian to Israeli children killed is even higher (5.7:1). [55] Reports indicate that the IDF has been even more ruthless in the second intifada! [56]

This behaviour is opposed by many Jews in the world, and the following is but one example:

Jews for Global Justice:  “Israel an armed ghetto by choice” by Mohamed Elmasry, Saturday, May 12, 2007. “The brutality of the Israeli occupation must be further exposed; the inhumane treatment of Palestinians must be internationally and categorically rejected. Peace-loving peoples of the world must step forward and build bridges of understanding and solidarity with moderate Jews everywhere against the vicious and genocidal agenda of Zionist extremism. Politicians, the general public, and children (our future leaders!) everywhere in the world must be educated that it is evil to treat your neighbour unjustly.” www.jewsforglobaljustice.org

We can now answer the question ‘is there evidence to support Bailey’s view’?

Took Palestine – yes!

Murdered all – yes murder, but not all.

Look for justifications – yes, all the time!

A major blow to world peace – yes!

Illegal and terroristic – yes!

Evil  – yes! Collaboration, genocide, apartheid, cruelty.

Zionist movement in US is one point of a triangle of evil – yes! See later section.

3. There is fault on the other side, but Jews must not use this to justify their actions!

There is no scientific and hitherto unknown mode of solving racial problems. It is finally a question of right thinking, decent behaviour, and simple kindness.” [57]

Arabs contribute to the chaos through their violent actions. No one disputes this, and a number of western countries have become targets of Al Qaeda and similar groups. However, this is a paper about the Jews, and focuses on their dream to return to the Promised Land.

§The Zionists knew right from the onset, that they would have to take the land off the Palestinians, and this would mean big trouble. But this was of no account when weighed up against the Zionist goal. No matter what atrocities Arabs have committed in the past, now or in the future, it does not change the fact that this mess was started by the Zionists, and continues to escalate because of the continuing theft of Arab land. Yes, Israel needs to protect its citizens. Its actions have raised such hostility amongst its neighbours, what else can it do? But as previously mentioned, this ‘protection’ is being used by the Zionists to continue pushing forward the borders. There are other ways protection can be provided – such as a UN presence. But I believe that Israel does not want the UN in a position where it can scrutinise its own behaviour, so it will never allow this.

1)     “The Palestinian resort to terrorism is wrong but it isn’t surprising. The Palestinians believe they have no other way to force Israeli concessions. As Ehud Barak once admitted, had he been born a Palestinian, he ‘would have joined a terrorist organisation’.”[58]

2)     David Ben-Gurion: “If I were an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country.. They only see one thing: we have come here and stolen their country. Why should they accept that?” [59]

§ Israel is reaping the karmic consequences of its leader’s actions, and it does not help the situation to point accusingly at the dispossessed people, the victims of the genocide, and say “it is all their fault! If they didn’t start the war, throw their stones, launch their bombs or missiles, they wouldn’t be in this position!” This denial does not focus on the true cause of the problem, and until this is acknowledged, no resolution is possible, no healing can begin.

“Palestinian terrorism is not random violence directed against Israel.. it is largely a response to Israel’s prolonged campaign to colonise the West Bank and Gaza Strip.”[60]

§ It is clear that the Zionist aim is to push Israel’s boundaries out as far as possible on the West Bank, entrench their settlements so no one dares ask them to move, take as much of Jerusalem as they can, then throw any scraps, the unwanted, unfertile arid land, to the Palestinians. This is not fair, and people including religious leaders all around the world have expressed this view!

The problem is compounded because it appears that citizens of Israel believe that their country is always offering peace to the Arab world, who are inflexible and refuse any peace proposal. But according to Israeli historian IIan Pappe, this is not correct.

A common Israeli mythology.. is that Israel.. always offers peace, and it is the Arabs who are inflexible and refuse any peace proposal.. after the war ended in 1948 there was a genuine offer for peace from the Palestinians and Arab neighbouring states, and it was the Israeli government that rejected it.. Avi Shlaim from Oxford in his book the Iron Wall.. shows that not only in 1948, but since 1948 until today, there were quite a lot of junctures in history where there was a chance for peace, and it failed not because the Arab world refused to exploit the chance, but rather because the Israelis rejected the peace offer. [61]

In other words, the Zionists had their plans for a Greater Israel, peace was not an option then, and neither is it an option now!

IV. Having colonised and absorbed most of Palestine,
Israel is working to destroy the last hope of an independent Palestine.

Israel likes to portray itself as a Democratic State, but a true democracy is not founded on apatheid! Citizens of a democracy expect equal rights irrespective of race, religion or ethnicity – but Israel treats its 1.3 million Arabs like prisoners, corralling them into ghetto-like enclaves, encircled by walls, barb-wire, guns and missiles, denying them full political rights, applying another set of laws than that applied to Israeli’s.[62] This is designed to destroy the heart and spirit of the people, so they pack up and leave!

Since 1967.. by means of apartheid like legislation [Israel has] systematically undermined the possibility of an independent Palestinian agriculture and economy. On land requiring intensive water irrigation, Palestinians have virtually no rights to dig new wells. Water from existing Palestinian wells are also siphoned off to irrigate land confiscated by colonial settlers. Today some 320,000 settlers, who account for only 13 per cent of the population, consume 80 per cent of the West Bank’s water.[63]

4a. Statistics

-     There were 1.3 million Arabs in Palestine in 1948, but as a result of war in that year, 750000 that is over half the population, was forced to flee to Jordan, Lebanon and the rest of the Arab world. This is not reflected in the graph.

-     In the beginning of the graph period, Arabs owned 91% of the land, Jews owned 4%. Since then, 80% of Arab land has been confiscated. [64]

<-     Israeli Prime Ministers, repeatedly acting against international law, have encouraged more and more Jews to establish illegal settlements in Palestine.

<-        Human Rights Group B’Tselem report that in the West Bank today - including East Jerusalem, Israelis number less than 10% but control 41.9 percent of the territory.

-        According to Peace Now's report, "Aerial Survey Settlements Summary 2006," there are 121  “official” Israeli settlements, and at least 102 outposts (where settlers are building in violation of Israeli law). From the point of view of international law, all these are illegal!

4b. The “security wall currently [2007] being constructed by Israel is the latest example of the brazen annexing of Palestinian land and destruction of communities, under the guise of providing protection for the people.

1)     Bob May, United Methodist GBGM Christian Missionary:

‘If the wall was just about security, it would have been built around Israel’s internationally-recognized borders. But because the wall is also about land-grabbing, the route of the wall cuts deep through the West Bank. It is a long chain of land-grabbing fences, walls and barriers. It will separate residents, keep students from getting to school, keep families from getting to the closest medical facilities, and keep people from getting to work. No one can legitimately claim that the wall is just about security.’

2)     PLO Negotiations Affairs Department:

“.. It is estimated that approximately 43% of the Occupied West Bank (containing approximately 94% of the illegal Israeli settlers) will be de facto annexed by Israel. In addition, the wall is being built in such a way as to divide Palestinian population centers from their adjacent agricultural land and water resources... At the same time, Israel will effectively isolate Palestinian population centers from one another, and restrict not only freedom of movement of individuals but also of goods and services, thereby worsening an already crippled Palestinian economy. It is estimated that when the wall is complete, approximately 380,000 Palestinians will be trapped between the wall and Israel’s 1967 pre-occupation border (the “Green Line”), 160,000 of whom will be trapped in “double-walled” ghettos or enclaves. Once complete, the wall will leave less than 13% of historic Palestine for the indigenous Palestinian population.”

3)     Jews for Boycotting Israeli Goods:

Israel daily destroys Palestinian lives, livelihoods and homes; it continues to build its illegal colonies and separation wall on stolen land; it continues to control Gaza while slicing the West Bank into Bantustans, separating Palestinian families from their schools, places of work and agricultural land; it denies Palestinian refugees their right to return and operates a form of racism in many respects worse than the South African apartheid system. Its policies of intimidation and humiliation aim to destroy Palestinian hopes of statehood. Israeli businesses export freely from Palestinian land while the Palestinian economy is on its knees as a result of the occupation.[66]

4)     Amnesty International Report re West Bank 2007.

The report charges Israel with the “destruction of hope” of Palestinians.. “The 700-kilometer fence/wall that Israel is building through the West Bank and Jerusalem, is causing massive long-term damage to Palestinian life and is undermining the ability of those living in dozens of villages and communities to realize a wide range of their human rights.”

5)     According to a U.S. government report in 2002, 70% of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are now living below the poverty line; unemployment has risen to 50% while there are a minimum of 300,000 non-Palestinian foreign workers in Israel. (Unemployment rose to 80% in 2003.) Israel will not let Palestinians leave the occupied territory and go to work in Egypt, where many of them have jobs, or to Israel where they had jobs.

4c. The Israel public is being educated every day, to think of Palestinian’s in a very racist and dehumanising way.. to hate them and wish them dead!

The Zionist core group is doing an excellent job in programming the minds of Jews to hate their neighbours. The ironic thing, is that, under the Law of Karma, it is very possible that the Jew in this life could be born Palestinian in the next, and vice versa! This phenomenon has occurred before.

“So many Germans are reincarnated Jews. Hence the similarity of their points of view. It is a family quarrel and there is nothing more terrible than this.”[67]

The world has known about the massacres, it sees the continuing violations of human rights which Palestinians have to endure, but still nothing has been done to actually stop it. The USA which has fostered the situation, and which could make a change if this was what it really wanted, has blatantly favoured Israel. All this has sent a very wrong message to Israel. Surely its arrogance in the face of world condemnation, is because it believes that God is on its side? The evidence that this is so, is that the most powerful nation on earth – America, is its obedient slave and servant! Israeli historian Ilan Pappe offers the following observations:

[Israelis believe that] ‘it is okay to expel thousands of Palestinians and to destroy their villages and towns. This is why the ethnic cleansing of Palestine continues today. The world knew what happened then, knows what is happening now, but Israel is absolved.

And within Israel itself, the educational, media and political systems continually send out the very dangerous and racist message - that the personal life of the Jew in Israel would be much better without Arabs. Everybody agrees with this, whether they are on the left or on the right. Today the immigrant has become the owner of this country, and has turned the local people into immigrants who have no rights.

But in the long run, Israel is a small country in the Arab world, and America will not always be there to save it. The Israelis are miscalculating. The fact that you are successful for sixty years with the wrong policy does not mean that the next sixty years are going to be the same. They’re making a terrible mistake, as the Jewish communities around the world are making a terrible mistake in supporting this policy. [68]

V. Bailey said: “These Forces of Evil work through a triangle of evil,
one point of which is to be found in the Zionist Movement in the United States, another in central Europe, and the third in Palestine.”

Evil defined by Bailey: [All the problems of humanity] can be traced back to the outstanding human weakness, the great sin or heresy of separateness. There is no greater sin than this; it is responsible for the entire range of human evil. It sets an individual against his brother, makes him consider his selfish, personal interests as of paramount importance, it leads to crime and cruelty.. it sets man against man, group against group, class against class and nation against nation. It engenders a destructive sense of superiority.. produces economic selfishness and leads to economic exploitation of human beings.. to territorial possessiveness and to the extremes of poverty and riches; it sets an important emphasis upon material acquisitiveness.. and the dangerous doctrine of national sovereignty.. breeds distrust between peoples and hatred throughout the entire world and has led since time began to cruel and destructive wars. It has today brought the entire planetary population to its present dire and dreadful condition. [69]

Point 1, Palestine.

Besides the points previously covered, there were the crusade massacres during the Middle Ages. Entire Muslim and Christian communities were massacred by the invaders, and there were cruel retaliations by the Arabs.

The current conflict in Palestine is tied up with the destiny of the Planet Logos. He is, that is, Humanity is, preparing to take an initiation. Bailey said that “hundreds of thousands of people in every land have taken, or are preparing to take, the first initiation [and that] humanity, the world disciple, is now ready for this.” [70] When this occurs in the individual, it means that an emotional perspective of life, is about to be superseded by a newly developed intelligent mental focus. Whereas before the major life force was expressed through the solar plexus centre, in the future it will play out through the throat centre - the distributing centre for lower mind. To allow this to happen, a major spring-clean of the astral nature through the solar plexus centre takes place. Preparation for this great event is now taking place in the field of Humanity!

The great problem, but also the great opportunity for the Jewish race, is that it is the solar plexus centre in the field of the Logos; man’s collective astral expression (both high and low) is being ‘cleared’ through this race. This compounds an already complex situation.

“Through the Jewish people throughout the world, feeling - sympathetic or antagonistic, expressive of love or conditioned by hate, is being gathered to a focus in the planetary solar plexus centre, preparatory to a great and permanent change.”[71]

Looking at the problem from this angle, the solution is obvious. When the mind of man is more fully developed and working intelligently, then the problem of the Jews will disappear. Ensuring all the world’s children have access to quality education is vital, for in the long-term, developing the collective mind of man is the key! We will know that Humanity / the Logos. has taken initiation when...

“when humanity will have solved correctly the Jewish problem, and when it has been resolved in a humanitarian and sound manner, then the energy of the planetary solar plexus centre will have been raised to the heart and a great transmutation will have taken place.” [72]

Point 2, Central Europe.

In this area, from southern Russia and Poland in the north, to Romania on the right, to Serbia in the south, and to Austria and Germany in the east - we have seen throughout history, terrible crimes committed, genocidal acts which rank amongst the most horrendous in history.

We know of Stalin’s blood rampages! Serbs nursed grievances about the slaughter of their ancestors by the Ottoman Empire for 600 years before committing atrocities against Muslims in the Kosovo wars. Many other violations were committed in the civil wars following the collapse of Yugoslavia. Germany instigated two terrible world wars. The holocaust probably ranks as the most terrible act of genocide committed in this region, with its death camps scattered throughout the region being examined.

From the 15th century we have the originator of the vampire myth - Count Vlad (1431-1476), who would rival anyone as the most cruel tyrant of all time. Impalement, a most gruesome ways of dying was his preferred method of torture and execution. When we combine all these elements, it justifies Bailey pointing to this region as being a major point through which evil is released! Modern Zionism was launched from this region (Austria)!

Point 3, the Zionist Movement in the United States – the Israel Lobby

[Information for this section comes primarily from ‘The Israel Lobby’, by John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt ]

IIan Pappe said that “As a result of the lack of action on the part of the world community, Israelis believe that it is okay to expel thousands of Palestinians and to destroy their villages and towns. This is why the ethnic cleansing of Palestine continues today.”

Why should this be? Because the USA protects Israel!

Since 1972 it has vetoed 32 UN Resolutions critical of Israel, thereby crippling it from intervening in the genocide, and giving free reign to Israel. It has given an unprecedented amount of money. From 1976 to 2004, $140 billion dollars ($3 billion per year, 1/5th of the foreign aid budget, about $500 per year for every Israeli. This in spite of the fact that Israel is now a wealthy industrial state.) This has  enabled Israel to build its formidable war machine, and its nuclear arsenal.

Why should this be?

Both the US and Israel claim their bond is based on shared strategic interests or compelling moral imperatives - the enemies of Israel, are the enemies of the US! But on closer examination Israel is a liability. The US has a terrorism problem in good part because it is so closely allied with Israel, not the other way around. The relationship with Israel actually makes it harder for the US to deal with rogue states. For example, Iran wants nuclear weapons because Israel has them!

Supporters say that Israel needs support because it is the only democracy in a sea of hostile Muslim states. But this is not correct. Israeli’s may be able to vote, but Israel is not a true democracy - it practises apartheid against the Palestinians.

Another justification for receiving special treatment is the history of Jewish suffering especially during the holocaust. This may be so but the creation of Israel brought about fresh crimes against an innocent third party - the Palestinians.

There is the oil factor. Right-wing American materialists orchestrate US policy for its geopolitical oil interests. Aligning with Israel and using it to get at the oil fields of the ME, has long been a part of its plan. But this does not account for the extraordinary ignoring of human rights violations.

So if neither strategic nor moral arguments can fully account for America’s support for Israel, how are we to explain it?

§ Mearsheimer and Walt in their book The Israel Lobby, say that the explanation is the unmatched power of the Israel Lobby - a loose coalition of individuals and organisations who actively work to steer US foreign policy in a pro-Israel direction. The most powerful of these, the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), is ranked second in influence behind the American Association of Retired People, but ahead of the National Rifle Association.

“American Jews have created the situation.. The United States, urged by expediency, by the financial weight of the Zionists, and by the strategic position of Palestine, have thrown the weight of their influence into the conflict on the side of aggression and of territorial theft.”[73]

§ The goal is to prevent critical comments from getting a fair hearing in the political and public arena. Controlling debate is essential to guaranteeing continuing US support. One of its most powerful weapons is the charge of anti-Semitism. Anyone who criticises Israel’s actions stands a good chance of being labelled anti-Semitic. It’s very effective, something no one wants to be accused of.

“There is no reason to believe that the USA public would support a massive and brutal ethnic cleansing program if they were given even a modest quantum of the ugly facts, if the main victims rather than the ethnic cleansers were humanized, and if the media’s frames of reference were not designed to apologize for Israeli expropriation and violence. However, the ongoing media and intellectual biases do very effectively complement the national policy of support for the ethnic cleansing state.[74]

Jews are wealthy, and AIPAC forms the core of the Lobby’s influence in Congress. It rewards those who support its agenda, and punishes those who challenge it. Money is critical to US elections and AIPAC makes sure that its friends get strong financial support. Anyone who is seen as hostile to Israel can be sure that AIPAC will direct campaign contributions to his political opponents. To discourage unfavourable reporting, the Lobby organises letter-writing campaigns, massive email distributions, demonstrations and boycotts of news outlets whose content it considers anti-Israel.

§ The bottom line is that AIPAC, a de facto agent for a foreign government, has a stranglehold on Congress, with the result that US policy towards Israel is not debated, even though that policy has important consequences for the entire world.

 The Lobby’s negative influence:

1)     It muzzles all criticism of Israel. It silences sceptics by organising blacklists and boycotts, or by suggesting that critics are anti-semites. This violates the principle of open debate on which democracy depends.

2)     It has made it impossible to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This gives extremists a powerful recruiting tool, increasing the pool of potential terrorists, and contributing to Islamic radicalism in Europe and Asia.  In short it has increased world terrorism

3)     Its campaign for regime change in Iran and Syria could lead the US to attack those countries, with potentially disastrous effects.

4)     Thanks to the Lobby, the United States has become the de facto enabler of Israeli expansion in the Occupied Territories, making it complicit in the crimes perpetrated against the Palestinians.

5)     Its influence has been bad for Israel. Its ability to persuade Washington to support an expansionist agenda has discouraged Israel from seizing opportunities to make peace with its neighbours.

Denying the Palestinians their legitimate political rights certainly has not made Israel more secure, and the long campaign to kill or marginalise a generation of Palestinian leaders has empowered extremist groups like Hamas, and reduced the number of Palestinian leaders who would be willing to accept a fair settlement and able to make it work. Israel itself would probably be better off if the Lobby were less powerful and US policy more even-handed.

|| When we consider the fact that this group has been so powerful, that it has managed to disguise a genocide taking place before the world’s eyes, and has made the victims, the perpetrators; when we consider that they have muzzled world opinion about Israel’s actions, through the threat of being labelled anti-Semitic; when we consider that all this is pushing the world towards a major conflagration; then we must concur with Bailey. The Zionist movement in America is a major distribution point for evil in the world. This influence must be opposed!

VI. There are thousands of Jews in the world who oppose the Zionists, and who sympathise with the Palestinians and support them in their struggles!

The following is just a tiny sampling of Jews who do not agree with Zionist policies, and of some of those who do what they can to help the Palestinian casualties. The world is truly grateful for the opposition raised by such courageous people. One Jewish voice is probably worth 100 non-Jew voices. It also helps enormously to offset the accusation of being “anti-Semitic”, which is used so prolifically in the American Zionist Lobby to stifle any criticism of their policies in Israel.

VII. What can we do to solve the most crucial problem facing humanity?

I believe that if the forward momentum of Israel is not stopped, a major war will be inevitable. And we know what Bailey warned - a religious-based war “may well prove the end of humanity”!

Finding a solution to the crisis in Israel is the most important task facing man at this time, and therefore deserves the highest priority from the disciples of the world!

On an exoteric level, the following thoughts come to mind.

The US must stop abetting Israel. To achieve this it must break the hold which the Israel Lobby group has over its administration, and encourage honest debate. It must play fair with both sides, and insist Israel make the necessary changes, or financial and political support will be withdrawn. This is the only threat I believe which could force Israeli to abandon its Greater Israel drive! No real solution is viable until this happens.

The land thefts must stop, and land given back to the Palestinians; rogue settlements must be dismantled - perhaps there is room to negotiate with the Palestinians over this, if adequate concessions and compensations are made. The problem of the division of Jerusalem should be settled by a committee with parties from both sides and USA and UN presence. The killings and abuse must stop, and in this the UN can play a crucial role with an on-site presence. The wall must come down, most check-points dismantled, the Palestinians given world assistance to rebuild their communities and economy. Full citizen rights must be restored, the unfair system of law created for the Palestinians must be abandoned.

Israel - one or two states? Most observers seem to opt for the ‘two state’ option. This seems the only likelihood as long as Israel insists upon a ‘Jewish-only state’. But at some stage – for its own survival, it will be forced to abandon this policy. Remember what Bailey said: “All the problems of humanity can be traced back to the outstanding human weakness, the great sin or heresy of separateness. There is no greater sin than this; it is responsible for the entire range of human evil.” [75] This attitude violates the principle of love, and will continue to gain animosity amongst the world community, until the ideal shatters – as did South Africa’s apartheid regime! Israeli historian Ilan Pappe, prefers a one-state solution, to which the Palestinian refugees are given the right of return. He believes that sanctions and boycotts are needed to shunt Israel in the right direction.

Would the Israeli population be moved by a worldwide boycott? Although they would rarely admit it, South Africa’s whites were moved enough to support an historic change. A boycott of Israeli institutions, goods and services, says Pappé, “will not change the [Israeli] position in a day, but it will send a clear message that [the premises of Zionism] are racist and unacceptable in the 21st century”.[76]

How can the Occult workers of the world help?

This work is ongoing amongst the disciples and initiates of the world. Some suggestions are:

|| Build a very clear thoughtform about the cause of the problem. The Dark Forces have shrouded this situation in glamour and illusion. Clear thoughts based on factual evidence, divorced from any type of earthly allegiance, is absolutely essential, if this dark cloud is to be dissolved. The situation must be assessed esoterically, the mind held steady in the “cold clear light of the soul”, then ‘dispassionate observation’ applied.

Careful reading of the information provided by Bailey is essential if the correct point of view is to be developed. Recommended sections are: Destiny of the Nations, p34-35; Externalisation of the Hierarchy, p74-88, p194-5; Glamour a World Problem, p146-8; Problems of Humanity, p95-105; Esoteric Healing, p263-9; Rays and Initiations, p634-7.

All those involved must absolutely be seen as souls, with equal rights before God.

“[If people] would emphasise the fact of [the one humanity] and cease thinking of themselves in terms of national and racial units, the karma of humanity would radically change from the retributive karma of the present to the recompensing good karma of the future.. All karma of evil nature is solved by.. a cooperative love, a frank acknowledgment of responsibility and a skilful adjustment of united joint activity to bring about the good of humanity as a whole.”

|| In meditation, steadily build new and healing thoughtforms, so these can influence the situation. For example, visualise the Jews accepting the Aquarian Christ; see both sides as souls and send both people love; visualise both Palestinians and Jews see and accept each other as souls, meeting in fellowship; see the Aquarian Water Bearer pour his healing waters of Love and Light through the astral nature of mankind, and through its solar plexus – the Jews! There are so many beautiful thoughtforms we can build in our occult work! But we must persevere until the task is done – only then can the “Christ return to earth!”

The following meditation is taken from ‘Glamour a World Problem.’ Bailey gave it to heal the problem between the Jew and German. I have simply changed the word German to Palestinian.

“Take the Palestinians and the Jews into your group meditation and pour out your group love upon both these divisions of your brothers in the human family. See to it that before you begin your meditation you have freed yourselves—emotions and mind—from any latent antagonisms, from any hatreds, from any preconceived ideas of right or wrong but that you simply fall back upon the love of your souls, remembering that both Jews and Palestinians are souls as you are and identical in their origin, their goal and their life experience with yours.

As you pour out the stream of pure white light (more detailed advice in the Dissipation of Glamour section of the book), see to it that it pours through you with purity and clarity as one stream. Then see it bisect into equal quantities or proportions—one stream of living light and love going to the Jews and the other to the Palestinian peoples. The quality of your love will count and not so much the accuracy of your analysis or the perfection of your technique.” [77]

And finally, what does Master Djwhal Khul (the true author of the Bailey books) say must happen in the long term, if the age-long problem of the Jews is to be solved?

“The Jews themselves must make the larger contribution.. They have never yet faced honestly (as a race) why the many nations.. have neither liked nor wanted them... Their demand has been for the Gentile nations to put the matter right..  until they ascertain what it is in them, as a race, which has initiated their ancient and dire fate, this basic world issue will remain as it has been since the very night of time.[78]

What is in them, is the ‘sin of SEPARATIVENESS’!

The Jew must accept the Christ within and things of the spirit.. he must relinquish pride of race, renounce dogmas and customs which are obsolete, and express inclusive love instead of separative unhappiness. The ‘Jewish problem’ will be solved by intermarriage – he must assimilate into all nations, fuse with all races.. conform to the civilisation, cultural background and standard of living of the nation to which by birth and education, he is related. He must forget he is a Jew and become an Italian, an American, British, a German or Pole.

“The Masters of the Wisdom see neither Jew nor Gentile, but only souls and sons of God.”[79]
